Host Guidelines - Turn It Around in 2018—Town Halls Across Our District

We're going big, organizing all across our district—so we can turn it around in 2018. But we can only do this if people like you step forward to help make it happen. Signing up as a host means that you’re committed to making an event happen in your area, whether it's a larger community town hall or a simple house meeting. Signing up to host does not mean doing it all by yourself! We’ll connect you to people in your area who sign up to help, and you can ask friends too. We'll also provide you with a guide and other forms of support to make your event a success.

A few guidelines for hosts:
• You can sign up to host a town hall before you finalize the date, time, and location. You can put "to be announced" and add this information later.
• We will recruit people in your area to events that are scheduled between April 9th and 15th.
• The sponsoring organizations are independent and this is an independent effort, and while we support specific candidates, we may not coordinate with any candidate or candidate's committee.

Okay!
The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
A hybrid event allows for both a physical location and a virtual link.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
Hint: You have selected %s. Do you mean %s?

Upload an image or banner below. Your image should be 1500px wide by any height (600px is suggested). It will be scaled to a final size of 750px wide.

Okay!
This is shown to people before they RSVP. Let them know what the event will be like and why they should attend.
